100% ENGLISH CHAMPION!

PROACTION Martial Arts were represented at the English Taekwon-Do open by Tony Hill, the clubs only representative to attend this years event, as it unfortunately clashed with another large club event.  However, despite the pressure on Tony, he didn’t disappoint!

Tony fought well in the under 78kg category, capitalising on recent experience gained through competing internationally, to meet an opponent towering above him at 6” 1 in the final (Tony is 5”9).  This did not intimidate Tony, who’s trade mark jump spin kicks and outstanding skills impressed all that were present, landing several jump spinning kicks to the head with outstanding speed and skill, his opponent found him simply too much to handle, and Mr Hill brought home the Gold!

Mr Nicholson, Chief Instructor said “Tony came to us a couple of years ago now with a very high skill level, we have been able to refine and focus this and his tournament results are demonstrating this.  He is certainly one to watch, and we wish him the best of luck with his 2nd Degree Black Belt grading in May”.
