Here at Reactionsport, we recommend Boxing Gloves with all of our Full Sparring Kits because this gives the added safety of an enclosed thumb.  Whilst there are many "open" hand pads available, (and indeed we sell plenty of them) we feel that there is a risk of a "loose thumb" accidentally injuring an opponent. This is why our Full Sparring Kits include Boxing Gloves rather than just Hand Pads.
