So what’re your future plans?
On a personal level, I love training and spending time with my wife and two beautiful daughters, so I intend to do as much of that as humanly possible. On a martial arts level, I will continue to train in ITF Taekwon-Do and train with the best in the world at least once per year. Obviously, I intend to keep training in BJJ too. On a ‘business’ level, I have lots of projects on the boil.

Can you tell us more about these projects?
We launched an on-line shop in November 2010 www.reactionsport.com. We sell martial arts equipment , fitness equipment and sports nutrition supplements . It gone really well and I just hope it continues to grow in the way my schools have. We’re placing ads with you guys, so hopefully your readers are logging on and checking it out. In fact, if they add ‘mai’ to the end of the domain name, they can find out how to receive 5% off all our MA equipment and nutrition.

I’m sensing this isn’t your only project right now?
No, not quite... I’d love to become a consultant to martial arts school owners - in my previous business I was a consultant to a government department, so I know this field well. However, I feel I have a good vehicle for this to happen, if it is to happen. It’s not something I am pushing, but you will find out what the vehicle is in months to come... my lips are sealed right now.

Is that the project you’ll be launching through these pages soon?
Maybe, but not the one you’re thinking of... I have another huge project coming in the next two to three months. Again, I cannot say what it is at the moment, but I will launch it with MAI and I hope all your readers (instructors and potential instructors alike) will jump on board.
